How does she know??

Oh how i love this song. It makes me all sorts of happy that I want you all to enjoy it as well. :) Click below if you want to smile and enjoy the simplicities of life, singing in Central Park.

A new favorite..

I am, without-a-doubt a huge romantic sap.

Here are a few of the words..

How does she know you love her?
How does she know she's yours?

It's not enough to take the one you love for granted
You must remind her, or she'll be inclined to say...
"How do I know he loves me?"
(How does she know that you love her?
How do you show her you love her?)
"How do I know he's mine?"
(How does she know that you really, really, truely love her?)

Well does he leave a little note to tell you you are on his mind?
Send you yellow flowers when the sky is grey? Heyy!
He'll find a new way to show you, a little bit everyday
That's how you know, that's how you know!
He's your love...

You've got to show her you need her
Don't treat her like a mind reader
Each day do something to need her
To believe you love her

Everybody wants to live happily ever after
Everybody wants to know their true love is true...
How do you know he loves you?
(How does she know that you love her?
How do you show her you need her?)
How do you know he's yours?
(How does she know that you really, really, truely-)

Well does he take you out dancin' just so he can hold you close?
Dedicate a song with words in
Just for you? Ohhh!

Because he'll wear your favorite color
Just so he can match your eyes
Rent a private picnic
By the fires glow-oohh!

Day Full of Celebration [40]

Drew's Birthday was Saturday and we had a full day planned! I loved that it was on the weekend so we were able to have the whole day to be together! Unfortunately, as much as I love taking pictures, I failed at documenting our day. We woke up early and I gave him a few presents, which included a portable disc golf basket. I help my husband achieve nerd status. You're welcome Drew!

Our youth volleyball team won the first round of the tournament Thursday night, so we headed to the second round that morning at 9. They played hard, but we were playing an undefeated team so we couldn't quite pull it off.

After the game we stopped for some Hardees' biscuits before heading to the Allstate Flea Market at the Salem Civic Center. We looked around at all the junk randomness, and found some DVDs for $2 a piece and a putter for $1!

We then went to play golf at Brookside. Let's just say we weren't that great but enjoyed every minute of the outdoors and each other's horrible golfing ability.

Home for a nap.

We had dinner at Red Lobster with Drew's family and my mom. IT is a favorite of his, but I don't like anything there. Thankfully I discovered their chicken fingers and mozzarella sticks are quite tasty. ;)

We ended the night with a trip to Target and home to watch an episode of Psych and relive the great day we had. Drew's Birthday = Success!

Drew and I try to make money other than our main jobs. Drew cleans several pools in the valley for my Dad's business. He wakes up early every day from Memorial Day to Labor Day to check chemicals, clean bathrooms, vacuum, blow decks off, etc... I can no longer to that because I have to be at work too early in the mornings.

Thankfully, God has provided another random job for me which I love! I took a photography class last fall and LOVE taking pictures. Since that time, My dad has asked me to take pictures of some of the softball tournaments that are at his sports complex. I enjoy being outside, taking pictures, and watch some good players while I do it! :) This Wednesday - Saturday was the NCCAA tournament which was a national christian college tournament.

I finished classes Friday so I was writing papers and taking tests this past week.

Drew sold his Volvo, bought a Lancer after driving to NC to get it, and then had to put the Lancer in the shop... all last week. Thankfully, while the garage we first took the car too said it was going to be a $600 fix, the people we took it too after that, who we trust, said it is most likely nothing. We will know for sure tomorrow. Praise God!

Our friends got married on Friday. It was a fabulous evening!

All of that being said, last week we were pretty busy with those things. You know, working hard and all that jazz. Saturday evening, once we cleaned up we decided to spend some quality time together. We went out to eat, walked around the mall, grocery shopped, and then watched the series finale of Prison Break. It was a much needed break of the 'running around with your chicken cut off' week we had.

Mother's Day

My mom's back was hurt due to all the grandchildren holding all weekend. Drew and I did get to go to Olive Garden with his mom and rest of family. It was an enjoyable afternoon. I sure am blessed to have a great mom and mom-in-law!

Wedding Season of 2011 Begins

Friday evening Drew and I attended our long-time friend Lewis' wedding to our new friend Christine. It was on top of a mountain and apparently had a great view. God decided that instead of us seeing that view He would give us some fog, and when I say some, I mean a TON! Drew and I found the guests by the sound of their voices. It was gorgeous and fun and I loved catching up with so many friends! I'd say it was a perfect evening.

A great Saturday = Strawberry Festival + family + breezy weather + crowds + yummy strawberries + relaxing on the grassy lawn + fresh manicure & pedicure for a ridiculously low price + relaxing evening with my man + Prison Break + chats with friends/random cosmetologist students
