Saturday Grandad and Grandma came to visit since Grandad couldn't make it to his party. They got him a cool big wheel and 'hat' that he loves!
It was pretty cold so he rode down the hill, colored a little bit, and then wanted to come inside. We spend time reading, going out to eat, and playing with baby.
Saturday night we made his birthday cake. I also caved and let him lick the bowl for the first time.
He approved.
We are a house divided so our cakes always look less than appealing... but it sure was YUMMY!
On Peyton's birthday daddy had to be at church at 7:30! :( So I made my boy chocolate chip muffins and sang to him when he woke up. He sure does love blowing out candles!
After church we had Bojangles and cake! We let him open one present and then saved the rest for Monday when we could celebrate with Daddy.
Monday morning is what we called his birthday! Daddy made pancakes and Peyton blew out candles multiple times!
After daddy got off of work, we headed to the park since it was a warm day... it got pretty cool as the sun went down so we hid Sadie under the slide. :)
We came home and had Peyton's favorite - Pizza, and more cake!
Then he opened his presents...

He's thinking in his thinkin' chair... it's been a good couple days. :) The rest of the week was spent with friends, some snow fun, and setting up for his birthday party!!
